Cornerstone Consulting was founded in 1986 to provide specialized talent management consulting services to medium to large organizations.
The initial focus of the firm, behavioral based Job Role Profiling, has evolved into a full range of integrated processes, activities, and programs to support activities such as Selection, Succession Management, Career Development, Performance Management, Learning Plans and Tactics, and Integrated Talent Management Systems.
Drawing on its library of propriety content, Cornerstone can rapidly fashion and deploy an individualized program reflecting the business focus, culture, and values of the client organization.

Judy Corner
Professional Biography
Judy Corner, founder, has been providing specialized talent management consulting services to medium to large organizations, both national and international, for 23 years.
Judy’s intrinsic reward comes from hearing a client say “Your work has really made a difference in how we approach employee development!” She accomplishes this by integrating the business focus of the organization with the human aspects that must support it. She then provides processes to identify, classify, and provide development platforms that align the needs of the organization with the employee’s competencies.
Judy, prior to Cornerstone, had 14 years experience in sales, marketing, management and organizational development in the newspaper industry. This varied background, in addition to undergraduate studies at St. Petersburg College and Elmhurst College and graduate level work at Chicago’s DePaul University, provide both academic and real world experiences to bring to a client assignment.
In addition to speaking at various organizational conferences and functions, she has published a series of articles on Mentoring, an area of special interest and expertise.
David Corner
Professional Biography
David Corner, who joined the firm in 1987, brings to bear over 30 years experience with multinational corporations. He has been employed by or consulted to public and private companies and foundations of varied size and diversity in industry and location. Living both in the United States and abroad, he filled a number of senior and corporate officer level positions in general management and finance.
Accustomed to working in diverse cultures and organizational environments, he brings a strong element of pragmatism to a client engagement. He especially understands and can respond to the concerns of and resources needed by organizations of all sizes in their various stages of development.
His undergraduate education incorporates Purdue University and Ohio State University followed later with a MBA from the University of Chicago.
